About J.Design & Programming

Since the early 2010s J.Designs founder - Jakob - has been working as a lighting designer for numerous bands, festivals and corporate events. Learning from the best in the industry right from the start had a great impact on the knowledge of lighting systems, different control desks and entire show concepts. After 3 years of professional training as an event technician, several events being lit and a specialization in lighting and video design, J.Design was born.

Today J.Design wants to give you the best visual support for any type of show. With people being used to big TV shows and taking pictures and videos for their social media channels, visual representation of your performance now is more important than ever. No matter if you are looking to light up a rock band, a DJ, a festival or even corporate events, J.Design is happy to help you get the looks right. Because the show is your personal product and should be presented within the best possible environment.

Home of the Showkreator for grandMA3

The Showkreator is a Lua based plugin within a showfile for the lighting console grandMA3 by MA Lighting. This showfile will help you build a very powerful busking showfile for live situations within minutes. It can also be used as a base for cuelist or timecode shows. The plugin will create symmetrical Groups, Presets, Worlds, Layouts, Fader Page, Button Page, Playback Page and a Phaser FX Engine.

Winner of the LD Talent Club 2020 !

Jakob from J.Design is the official winner of the "LD Talent Club Award 2020". In this lighting designers competition 100 young talents from all over Germany had the chance to show their skills in two separate rounds. For more information please visit www.ld-talent-club.de.
